In February 2024, I will be climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro on behalf of Shalva.
Why am I doing it? Well, I recently happened to find myself sitting next to the trip organizer. When Gaby told me about it, I was surprised that my immediate reaction wasn't NO WAY! Out of the blue, the idea of climbing a mountain with an incredible group of people resonated with me. And I couldn't be more excited to take this challenge with my wonderful sister-in-law Stephanie (the idea resonated with her too)!
And what better cause can there be? Shalva provides transformative care to 2,000 individuals with disabilities and support to their family members, in the warmest and most loving environment. From infancy through adulthood, this incredible organization provides leading-edge therapies, inclusive educational frameworks, social and recreational activities, employment training, independent living, respite programs regardless of religion, ethnic background or financial capability!
I am climbing a once-in-a-lifetime mountain to benefit Shalva, so that their families are able to conquer their personal mountains on a daily basis.
I hope you will join my effort to support Shalva by helping me raise money for this worthy cause. All contributions are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law, and anything you can give will help me reach my goal.
Together we'll be supporting this truly special place and changing the lives of thousands of children.
If your company has a matching gift program, please let me know so I can connect you with Shalva.
I thank you with all my heart for your generous help.
