Climb 4 Shalva is an ultimate challenge taken on by a group of dedicated individuals who have accepted the challenge of summiting Mount Kilimanjaro, a natural wonder and the tallest freestanding mountain in the world, for the immediate benefit of Shalva's children with special needs
About the TREK
THE TREK WILL TAKE PLACE FROM 19th January to 31th January 2025
SECURE YOUR SPOT AND REGISTER TODAY! Participants from all over the world will have a chance to spend ten days surrounded by some of the world's most beautiful scenery and will trek through 5 eco-systems, including rainforest, desert and arctic terrain. The route we have selected has a success rate of 96% due to the acclimatization time incorporated in this trek.The unforgettable Climb 4 Shalva experience includes:
- Return airfare from UK, Israel, USA or Canada to Kilimanjaro
- Three meals a day (unless specified in the itinerary)
- Drinking water on challenge days
- Entry into National Parks on the itinerary
- All internal road and air transfers in Tanzania
- All accommodation whether in tents or hotel (usually in twin share)
- All ground staff including English speaking challenge leader, drivers, cooks and porters
- Relevant back-up facilities including first-aid qualified staff and first-aid supplies
- Charity Challenge T-Shirt
- All challenge management before, during and post event
- Training Tools: Included are training schedules for climbers at every respective level; online tips from our professional coach; platform for virtual correspondence with the team's coach and much more
- Fundraising Tools: Every climber receives his own personal fundraising webpage along with requisite support including sample letters, solicitation advice, and charts to assist in keeping track of donations received
Registration Fee
All participants are required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of £800 to cover admin charges, as follows.Shalva - £75 (payable when registering on the Shalva challenge website)
Charity Challenge - £725 (payable when registering on the Charity Challenge website)
Fundraising Target
UK Climbers - £7,500 per participantIsraeli Climbers - 30,000 NIS per participant
Canadian Climbers - $15,000 CAD* per participant
USA Climbers - $12,500 US** per participant

The full cost of this challenge to Shalva is c. 50% of the fundraising target (slight variations dependant on flight costs). Participants may choose to cover some or all of this amount themselves, in order that all monies raised will directly benefit Shalva's children and their families.
