If you've reached here, you already know about Shalva. But did you know about these additional programs that Shalva operated at its National Center in Jerusalem over the last year? Here are some of them: On the First Floor, they provided support and mental health interventions for parents of evacuated children. On the Second Floor, Shalva provided a full day of programing for some 200 children evacuated from the south of Israel. On the Third Floor, Shalva is housed about 100 women from a Youth-at-Risk facility in the south, together with the professionals who staff that facility. There was also 24-hour care for children with complex disabilities, as well as housing for a family from the south who are living with a complex disability. Happily, many of the evacuees who stayed at Shalva for a few months have now returned home. Today, the entire building is humming with round-the-clock activities for around 1,000 children with disabilities. 100% of your donation will be used to support these and many other activities. And as a bonus, you can be a part of the attempt to give the WORLD'S HIGHEST ALTITUDE DAF YOMI SHIUR That's right, at the summit (19,341 feet) we will learn the daf (Sanhedrin 42) and set a world record!
